Derek Noel

President


 

 

Derek Noel, President of Deck Productions Inc., hails from Grenada but has strong ties to Trinidad.  During the mid-late seventies, he performed in and promoted La Petit, a Trinidad/Tobago folk group.  That experience became the seed for Deck Production that has been active in promoting Caribbean-American Culture for over 20 years.  He has been involved in New Yorks annual West Indian Day Parade and was the Founder and Producer of Sesame Flyers award-winning floats; has produced events in Montreal, Miami, and other cities.  

 

For over 25 years Dereks worked with major advertising and PR Agencies, whose clients included: Radio City, Broadway Plays, and Madison Square Garden. Scheffelin and Somerset (now Moet Hennessey), AT&T and the U.S. Army.  As a Director for C. Ottley Strategies, Derek handled public relations and logistics for the Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Project, which also included the Kennedy family.  

 

Derek as an independent producer has contracted clients such as McDonald's, Goya, Guinness Stout, Chase Manhattan Bank and Captain Morgan Run.  He has worked and volunteered for The Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (CACCI).

 

Deck Production has managed Caribbean superstar entertainment such as, Anslem Douglas and Atlantik. The Production provides the immigration service for over 80% of Trinidad Soca artist including Machel Montano and Xtatik Group and Reggae artists assigned to VP Records label.
